Driving directions to Hotel
Reventazon Restaurant & Bar:
Take the Interamerican Hwy #2 from San
Jose through San Pedro and follow the Cartago signs. As you
approach Cartago the signs will direct you right at the
intersection. Continue to the Stop light and stay in the left
lane pointing to Cartago. As you approach the next light there
will be a cemetery on the right. Make a right at this
intersection and immediately get into the left lane. You will
make a left at the second street. There will be a yield sign
(Ceda el Paso) at this street and you must yield to any on-coming
traffic. This is a one way street. Continue through
Cartago after leaving Cartago properly you will be back on a two way
highway. Stay on this continuing to Paraiso. You will
see another Y in the road, continue on the main highway keeping the
cemetery on your right. Past the cemetery you will continue
uphill coming into Paraiso and this becomes a one way in the
direction you are traveling. There are three stop lights in
Paraiso Central. At the second light make a right, the central
park with a yellow building will then be on your left. You
come to the last stop light and continue straight. Continue
down the mountain staying on the main road. Just follow the
winding road and signs and you will come right to Orosi. There
will be a Banco Nacional on your left, take the next right and
we are the second building on the right.
Public Transportation
Directions to Hotel Reventazon Restaurant &
Bar:
Take the"directo" bus to Cartago from
the bus stop in San Jose located on Avenida 2 and Calle 3 "Contiguo
del Viejo Banco Anglo", which leaves whenever it is full, usually
between 10-20 minutes. This bus will take you to Cartago and
will take about 40 minutes. When in Cartago ask the bus driver
to let you off "cerca de las ruinas" and from there walk to the
Orosi bus stop, located on Calle 6 and Avenida 1. The bus
to Orosi leaves every hour on the hour weekly and every 30 minutes
on Saturdays starting at 8 am and Sundays starting at 8:30
am. This trip takes 45 minutes and passes through
the town of Paraiso along the way.
